School Board

The West Side School Board invites your engagement in the search process for the new superintendent.  Dr. Heather Williams from Boise State, who is the Department Chair and Associate Professor, Program Coordinator for Executive Educational Leadership in the College of Education, will be leading the process.

Please join us during the session listed below.  You will be asked to share your thoughts on the strengths and challenges of the district and the desired characteristics of the next superintendent.

For those living in our district who would like to complete an anonymous survey, please email sbarzee@westside202.com or lengland@westside202.com for a link. These responses will go to Dr. Williams directly.

Policy 4120: When problems arise in any situation related to district activities or academic classes, concerning an advisor, teacher, coach, etc, the proper chain of command needs to be followed in order to effectively resolve conflicts. The participant, parent, advisor, teacher, or coach will meet with these people in the order listed below in an effort to resolve the conflict at the lowest possible level. Once the problem is resolved there is not a need to involve people at the next level.

  1. Head Coach / Teacher
  2. Athletic Director / Principal
  3. Superintendent

If you have a concern that the school board needs to be made aware of, we would ask that you not email or contact all 5 board members, but rather the board member from your zone only. If you are not aware of who your board member is, please refer to the map. If you still have questions or concerns, please call the district office at 208.747.3502
